Ladakh: Heaven on Earth

I went to Ladakh in September 2005 on my motorcycle. Finally I have finished and uploaded my trip log, check it out and let me know what you think about it.

To heaven and back

Its human nature to dream, so is the nature to do what few have done and is considered as a foolish thing. There is some allure in doing what only a select few can do, to make it to The Top of the world. Once your heart and mind is set on such a task, few things in the world can divert you from it.

For past few years, some thing of this sort had been doing rounds in my head. Ever since I read in BSMotoring of the exploits of their travel writer on Silver colored Bajaj Pulsar 180 conquering the highest and coldest desert in the world. I couldnt stop picturing myself and my Red Pulsar 180 in place of him and his bike.

As the days drew ever so near for my longest and hardest trip yet. I knew I had something special coming. Soon I will make it to the Top of the world (quite literally), do some thing that most will not even dream of.

I was about to embark upon a journey to the vary heart of Himalayas, a place known as Ladakh, land of passes.

Chail: A Perfect weekend Getaway

Chail turned out to be every thing I could want from a laid back weekend getaway. It brought the best and worst in friendship and made things clearer between two souls who in many ways are same. While at the same time it also showed us the real face of those who claim to be friend and while doing so try to take advantage of friendship. Any way, I have completed and published my trip log and here it is, Chail: A perfect weekend getaway

Time to start the journey

Just got a call from Shamik and I am about to step out to leave, weather is not looking nice and add to that there are few things that are cropping up that I don’t like. Well got to go with the flow, time to leave…

Few hours to go

Only a few hours to go and its raining outside and according to Akshay in Ambala its over cast there as well. Guess its going to be a wet ride in the morning, well time to try and get some sleep.

Delhi-Chail-Delhi

Finally getting ready to head out to hills, hoping to do Delhi-Chail-Delhi (roughly 700-750kms) round trip in a day and while at it click lots of photos and manage to have a good time.

Reality or fiction?

Will found out in 24hours.
